get a spool. there very predictible, you always know that it will be locked up, i belive you can only run a spool in back but not 100% on that one. lockers cost more. Spools last forever, and they are almost no different on road, id run a spool, ill have one in my sammy in a few days! trust me spool is easier, better, and cheaper.

You can run a spool in the front, but I would recomend against it.   With the Zuki's, just spend the extra hundred and put a locker up front.  An ARB would be perfect.  Then again, there aren't many area's you even need your front end locked up except for rocks and maybe mud (I don't do mud.  :P)

With the front locked up the front end binds up horribly when turning and you will twist your front axel shafts.  When my front end locker was binding up it was a pain to turn and the radius was through the roof.  And when you let go of the steering wheel you could break your hand if you stuck it in there it whipped back so fast.

The lockright itself from a sam or a kick are the same. I don't know about the sidegears bcoz i bought them without. Anyway I had a sam lockright and a kick lockright and i coud not find the difference...
I believe vitara-dave is correct gentleman, it is the side gear that makes a difference, and it may depend on the year of the Sammi.
Hi Tyson,

Nope, gotta use the kick lockrite. Stinks...I had a Sami locker laying around, and had to buy another for my kick.... :-\
