Thats a great deal, I paid $1000 for mine, and it was filthy dirty inside with dog hair, and had some rocker panel rust. I had to put a couple days worth of work into cleaning the inside just to be able to drive it,.. and yet I can still smell dog sometimes  >:(
Maybe pop off the rocker panel covers to see how the metal is under there, it's one of the hidden spots, as well as underneath the rear bumper.

I'll do that today... I'm going to the shop today to check and change all my fluids, (axles, tranny, transfer case), and I'll be sure to look in those places for rust as well... I actually did find a bit of surface rust on the passenger side kickpanel inside the tracker.. It looks as if it's right where they welded up a seem, but as I said, it's only surface rust, a grinder and some black rustoleum and it looks good as new.
