You mean for the rear right?  In the front they changed the splines from 22 to 26 in 1996, so if you order a locker with side gears you have to get it for the right year.

Check out this page:

http://www.acksfaq.com/pdfs/Backlash.pdf

Of course, you have to pop the rear axles out in order to remove the third member.  The Samurai version of this process - which is very similar - is documented here:

http://www.zukikrawlers.com/showthread.php?t=2905

http://www.zuknation.net/zuknation/ZN/modules.php?name=Forums&file=viewtopic&t=616

or more specifically for the Tracker (minus the backyard mechanic tricks):

I hope that this helps!

I don't believe they ever made a locker with sidegears for anything other than the 26 spline rears, did they?  The 1512 comes with replacement 26 spline sidegears (you can use this in the rear of trackicks and samurais, or in the front of the 96 and up trackicks).  The 1510 doesn't, so you reuse your stock sidegears (no matter whether they are 22 or 26 spline....and you can run the 1510 in the front or rear of a trackick or samurai).

I know the Detroit Ez-Locker can be ordered with 22 spline side gears from when I originally ordered mine years back, I assumed the Track-Lock would as well.  So no idea.  :)
