Did you disconnect the battery
before you started the work ??

Did it get re connected backwards ??

This is strange, but a Static shock
can do strange things to electronics

You might try a reset by removing
a battery cable and waiting 30 Min

You might also look to see if the small
wire from both Pos and Neg Battery
terminals are still connected to the
Trucklet, a missing ground or missing
Pos to the inside could cause the computer
to not work, look at fuses inside and by
the battery, the big ones, you might have
grounded the Pos and blown a fuse that
supplys the inside Voltage

Do you have inside lights ?? Headlights ??
Brake Lights and signals ??

There should be a valve on the fuel rail somewhere. This is used to relief and/or check fuel pressure. This will let you know if the pump is at least working.
When doing a body lift, the wiring is usually wrapped to the underside of the body. When it comes off the body to the frame, there is some slack. You've may have pulled some wires off the connectors, broke them, etc.
Always check the fuses first as it's the simpliest. Use a 12v lamp on both sides of the fuses. Check the pressure. Take a flashlight on top of the gas tank and look for something not connected. (Should be a lot easier with a body lift!)
If it cranks, see if the rotor spins with the crank. This will let you know the timing belt is still good.
Doing a little work or mod like this can throw a monkey wrench along with it.

Wires for the fuel pump come out
on the left side, from the bottom of
the body, around the back area,
see if those are stretched or broken

Also check this area under the passenger side floorboard towards the engine compartment on the frame:

This is a block that is attached to the frame that carries your fuel lines. Make sure that if it is still connected to the frame, that your lines didn't kink or break. I unbolted mine and let it hang loose, and stated to do so when doing a body lift in the budget article.

I don't know if the car wouldn't start when disconnected, but to mine there was a vacuum-line which was very tight, It was the one going to the little box on the fire-board in the motor compartiment, it might have come loose or somethin.....

That is the map sensor, but this brings
up a good point, the big Brake booster
line, if it was broken, way too much air
would get past the throttle body and
might make it not start

Good thinking Ed
