Has anyone got this kit and what is it ? how does it Work? Anyinfo would be great!!!!

take your old ecm apart.  odds are you'll be able to see the part physically damaged - burned out. Or you could do it his way, should work fine.

THEY SAY YOU DO NOT HAVE TO OPEN UP THE ECU??? HOW DOES THIS WORK???

It doesn't.  You must take it apart.  My mechanic took it a TV repair shop to get it fixed.  Cost me $160.  Better then $800 for a new ECM.

I say look around online and you can most likely find out how to do it for free.  If it is just instructions that you need it is probably out there.

I know I've said this before but I will keep saying it. Unless you have the proper working environment for working on electronics you risk damaging it. All modern electronics is static sensitive, you can carry thousands of volts of charge in a field around your body. The FSM tells you not to touch the pins but once you open it it is far more likely to be damaged. It is unlikely to fail straight away but its life may be seriously reduced. Taking it to a radio shop is a good idea.
