94 4 door front spline count

94 4 door front spline count

i have just bought a 94 4 door kicker with the 5 speed with the "big block" 1.6.  i am wandering of it has 22 ir 26 splines in the front end?  and are all the CV outer(part that goes into the hub) the same from 22 spline to 26 spine?  thanks

I know!! I've gotten hosed on the rear end I paid for, and my body lift still hasn't come!

Is all this 22 and 26 spline talk referring to the outer part of the CV shaft that goes into the hub? If so, what years had 26 spline, and are they a worthwhile upgrade?

No, it's the axle splines that engage the
side gears in the diff.

The outer driveline is the same,
26 splines engage the lockout hubs.

Speedracer7c, if I were you which I'm not, I would give Calmini a call to see if there is something wrong with the billing or shipping. You may be lost in the paper work. I got my body lift today (05/10/04) and I live in Maryland.  ;D  ;D  ;D

Do people have problems with 22 spline shafts with large tires (33's)? To do this upgrade, which parts would I have to change out?
