if you hollow your cat itll give you an improvement over stock but not over just having a straight through pipe

NOW IN THESE PARTS YOU NEED TO LOOK LIKE YOU HAVE A CAT. OR YOU WILL NOT PASS YEARLY STATE INSP.  SO HOLLOWED OUT IS BETTER THEN NOTHING.... ;)

I guess you could hollow it out and then put a straight pipe through it for looks??
