ya evey time we go down town in the 66' bronco(show truck :-X )  we always get that.  ''wow nice jeep"  once a young ladie said that and my responce was "Wow nice t!ts"  i think see figgered out that is wasn't a jeep.  once i even got "Wow is that the new Ford SUV i have been hearing about!"  my jaw just droped and i floored it.

THE ONLY PROBLEM I HAVE WITH A HEEP IS MY BROTHER..I'VE ALLWAYS HAD TO LISTEN TO HIM SAY YOU SHOULDA GOT A JEEP...EVER SINCE MY OLD SAMMY...BUT I JUST SMILE & TELL HIM THAT ITS NOT ALL ABOUT THE H.P.   AND I'M SATISFIED WITH WHAT I'VE GOT.....TO EACH THERE OWN.... PICKING IS OK UNTIL IT GOES TO FAR, AS IN ROAD RAGE.......

My Tracker hasn't been picked on...yet.

Most of the guys I go wheeling with think its a cool truck.

Lots even get a few pictures of it to go show their friends.

Me too, this morning >:( A dude on a cell phone tried to cut me off in his Grand. I love being surrounded by steel and big tires, you should of seen the look on his face when I swerved back at him  :o. Luckily we pulled into the same gas station, he got realy pissed when I just smiled and said good morning ;)

What cracks me up about people calling our rigs half trucks is the fact that a Trackick has way more legroom than the current Wrangler does. (Can't say the same for the sammy unfortunately).

I've never had any problems with getting cut off myself other than the usual idiot driver types here in Phoenix but I've never felt it was because of what I was driving.

One nice thing about Arizona is that it's perfectly legal to openly carry a holstered firearm at any time.  If you get out of the truck with it visible it has a wonderful deterrent effect without even pointing it out etc.

That said I rarely carry anyway unless I'm going shooting somwehwere.

Some frat boy in a Jeep his mommy and daddy bought him with big tires and a highlift that's probably never even been on anything more than a dirt road doesn't scare me a whole lot anyway.  I figure if someone's going to cut me off that's the most likely type of person that would do it.  Much like their Heeps they're usually all talk. (never underestimate the stupidity and aggressiveness of drunk young men in groups however)

A real off-roader is actually more likely to be accepting of a trackick or sammy even if there's some brand vs brand flak thrown about in a friendly way.
