hello everyone my name is mike and im from Va. i have a 1997 Geo tracker 4dr lsi. i see most of the stuff in here is 4x4 related, but mine is 2wd. the mods ive done so far is air ride suspesnsion, 18" wheels, shaved the sidemarkers off. the only engine mod i have is i made a sustom intake since i couldnt find anything for the 16v.  im looking into doing a motor swap or possible adding to the current motor.  the motor i was looking into getting was a 4.3 chevy motor.  i see that suzukiconversions.com has brackets and stuff to do this . has anyone dealt with them or know of anyone else making brackets. or can someone point me in the direction of building the 16 v.  i saw this company in australia that makes a supercharger for it but they havent emailed me back with anything. here is a pic of my tracker. thanks for any advice.

nice lookin ride! I have heard BAD things about suzuki conversions. For a street rig I would go with a turbo set-up on your current motor.

Wildgoody on here is selling kits I think.

Welcome!

Your ride looks good!

I vote for a turbo also.  The 1.6 16v is a great engine!

Nice looking Geo. Have you thought about a V-6 Suzuki conversion? Do a search for 2.7L or V-6 swap. 95XL7 and Eric both have the Suzuki 2.7L in thir Sidekicks and they haul ass.

Nice looking ride. must suck on speed bumps tho ;) ;D

speed bumps are no problem as i can hit a switch and lift it up to almost stock height. ;D. ill have to admit though after looking though zukiworld these past 2 days ive really started wanting to get a 4x4  tracker, perferably another 4dr.  How do you guys think a 4dr with the calmini 6" lift on  some 31" tires on 18" wheels would look?  Keep in mind the area i live in is very limited for off roading, so the most it would see if probably a mud puddle or maybe the beach down in the outerbanks nc.  thanks for the complements on the geo though. have to admit i was a little nervous about getting bashed for having a lowered tracker. but definitely not the case. awesome  site

Awsome ride.
How'ed did you lower it?
It sounds like air bags?
Hydrolics?
Is the front cross member cut?
Do you have any underside pics?

How do you guys think a 4dr with the calmini 6" lift on  some 31" tires on 18" wheels would look?

Well, the 18's would not be a good choice for serious wheeling, but if you're not doing that, I would say it sounds sweet!  You'll have to trim back the front fender openings some, in the back probably.  You have plenty of room behind the rear seat to put in a massive audio system.
