Would anyone be interested in Crush tubes/Sleeve nuts?

I don't like Body Lifts, but it seems that with IRS and these Trackicks, a body lift is pretty common and needed to get the rockers up away from the obstacles, as well as fit larger tires..

SO, instead of buying them, I decided to make my own with bulk rubber mounts, sliced to taste.

Of course, I found out the using longer body bolts isn't an easy option. I see Rocky Road uses a "sleeve nut"  to connect to the body studs... and some homemade jobs I have seen on other forums use bar stock drilled and tapped as a "sleeve" or "Crush tube" as I have heard them called.

I have a friend with a machine shop that would make me up a set of them.. but it would be easier and cheaper if he were to make a few.

I am just testing the waters to see if anyone would be interested in some if I have some made up.  I could even supply the rubber (hard rubber body mount material) in whatever size lift a guy would want, from 1" to 3" or more even..

Just a thought... I might not even do it.. but if there is a demand, I could price it out.  What do we need, 6 sleeves and 2 longer bolts for the front mount, correct?  8 pucks altogether?

It was my idea to RED locktite the sleeve to the lower bolt, that way, it would be easy to go back to stock, or move a lift from one Trackick to another...

Any Interest?   I know that 24 inches of the rubber tube material is about $30 or so from several places online I have seen. That is also about what my 4x4 shop charges...  Just waiting to see what my "Friend" thinks 6 sleeves are worth... lol...

I might be interested if the price is right ;D, Digger might be as well.  Digger can drill 2" blocks for body lifts, but the sleve nuts were a problem. I would want enough to do 2-3 trackicks for a 2" body lift(depending on price) if you decide to make them.

That's right, but I thing there needs to be 4 extra blocks in spots where they just "sit" on the frame, they're just as a space, not bolted in place. SO - 8 blocks with holes/sleves, 4 without holes/sleves.

Got ya...  I remember that from a 4 door lift I read.. I will try to count my 2 door and see if there are that same..

but that doesn't effect the numbers of tubes needed.

It might be a few days before I know anything... but to be honest, it might get to be longer than that, as I have a few more pressing matters... like getting the skid plate on, and putting the minispool in the rear.. :D
