I will own a sas trackick one of these days, preferably on coils, but leafs will sure as hell work also.  There are some people on this board that have them, and I am sure they will chime in.

:)

Leafs were definately an easy to understand basic logical setup for us. We could have done coil, and we might in the future, but the ease of geometry and the price of installation was what we were looking for at the time.

The suspension is still working well, a year later, and I still use this truck as my DD.

I'm no fabricator(although I can find my way around a shop), but a 3 link with coil springs similar to a jeep tj(?) seems easier to me - less work, no extending the front frame, no change in the rear except an axle change(for a bigger axle right?) and there's a how-to on that in the archive.  It would be like  mimicing the rear setup in the front.

Tony Bennet (Red_Baron) converted his 4dr to leaf springs using Toy parts. If you search back for his posts you will find some pics.
