That is great. Thanks to the users that take this board seriously and approach communications with respect and the readers that come back frequently to view the latest feature articles we have been able to pull away and accelerate past 'other' boards and websites. Recent 3rd party traffic ranking places us well ahead of other Suzuki enthusiast websites with over a 2x lead over the closest and over 5x lead of the next making us the #1 ranked Suzuki Enthusiast website, excluding Suzuki.com, of course.

Now is not a time to rest, we're always looking for new ways to bring the community together and increase the benefits of using our website. With that in mind, please accept this open call to all users and readers that have an idea of how we could better serve the Suzuki Enthusiast Community. Send your ideas via email to ebewley|removethispart|@zukiworld.com

To all who enjoy and use ZUKIWORLD, thank you.

-Eric

Ecourage all of your suzuki enthusiast friends to join. How cool would it be to hit 4000 members by the end of 2006.

Thanks To everyone.

Eric, just a friendly joust here...You make a pretty big claim up there ;D I'm not doubting but I'm interested in the rankings to see where we're at in comparison to these "other" sites too, where do you get your info from?

Sure R/T, I'd love to help out.  ::) www.alexa.com is an internet ranking site that ranks websites based on a number of criteria. More information is available on their site.

Good luck, Eric

I don't see how that should be to hard to do. That is about a hundred new converts every month.

So you're basing your ranking on Alexa? This Alexa?:
alexa gets their data from users running the alexa Toolbar. Whenever you visit a site if you're running that toolbar, it sends a log of your hit back to alexa's servers (Side note: That's why most AdWare/Spyware removal tools flag alexa Toolbar as Spyware).

The way to manipulate the results is to write a .vbs script, batch file, use task scheduler, whatever, that opens your web browser to your home page then closes it. This will result in your alexa ranking increasing because they see more hits. Apparently they don't count IP addresses.

That doesn't appear to be a very valid representation of your or any sites popularity. I'm definately not downing Zukiworld, it's a great site, but the numbers aren't adding up....until you learn about Alexa anyway.
I wasn't going to respond with this info, but the eye roll smiley called me out  ;) Instead of stats from a useless third party, take straight stats from your logs.
Actually this is all silly anyway, it doesn't really matter who's the biggest and best, the folks can visit any site and find the one that fits them best...I'll try to shut up now!
