But my quetions are, is it common? because i see alot of sidekicks with one headlight brighter than the other.  The other quetion is, is it easy to fix?? Because i dont want to poke around and start blowing fuses. ::) Please Help me, cuz its really starting to bug me.

have you tried replacing both bulbs yet?? as a halogen lamp gets older it gets dimmer
thats the first thing id try because that is the easiest. you can replace them with aftermarket brighter ones if you wish. (do a search for the different ppls oppinions on the different brands hopefully this wont turn into another one of those threads)

Start poking around and look for a corroded ground wire, and gently tug on the connectors for the bulb socket while you're in there.  Are you having any weird blinker or brakelight problems, too? If so, that is more evidence of a partial ground.  Good luck; hope this helps...

i just replaced both headlight fuses in the fuse panel under the dash. this has happened to me a couple of times.

maybe try that. if the fuse keeps blowing,  then you have a bad wire somwhere, either not grounding, or shorting out.

*****Switch the bulbs out from one side to the other and see what difference it makes*****

This has happened to me a few times and i have dived deep into it trying to figure it out, when it was always just a bad bulb.

Switch the 2 around, it won't cost you anything and see if it is then dimmer on the other side.  If it is, it's a bad bulb with a weak connection.

I put a new bulb into my tracker once and it was really dim and it took forever for me to figure out that it was just defective and the connections of the wires inside the actual bulb were not very strong.
