I was looking at getting some 33 14.00 boggers and was just wondering if they were good on side hills

I have heard a lot of jeep guys complain about boggers on side hills.. BUT I saw a set that had be grooved, straight slots cut around the circumference, this jeep was doing MUCH better on slippery side slopes.. Boggers were designed by Interco to be cut.. that is why there is so much meat on them..

I have never messed with a light SUV like these zuks on boggers... maybe someone else will chime in.

Another thing I have seen work is  Boggers in the rear, and TSL's in the front... seems to work well.

boggers are good for going up hills and thru big puddles. unfortunately they dont turn very well and dont do well on side slopes. on my friends race truck we have a set of boggers for hill climbs and mud bogs and a set of tsl's for everything else.

Don't forget about the trusty old hot knife...  boggers can be made to hold side hills just fine, with a few well placed deep cuts in those massive lugs..  I wish I could find a picture of a set they carved up a couple of years ago, hard to recognize the tread at all.. it was wicked...

anyway, yeah, stock boggers will slide sideways....
