Full Widths on a Track/Kick?!?
« on: February 14, 2006, 03:36:15 PM »
I dunno if someone slipped me some crack or something but I had this idea.  I got a 95 Tracker with a blown motor for $100.  I havent looked at it yet.  I figure if the motor is beyond repair swapping in a bigger motor and maybe going full width and extending the wheelbase.  I have a few sets of HP44/9in.  But I like my Trackers small and narrow.  So I dunno if it would look dumb.  I still have my 96 Tracker to keep normal.

Anyone got pics?

stock toyota axles

Did you use PU axles or LC axles on your TracKick? I know of a set of Yota PU axles but I haven't bought them because someone said the Yota LC axles have a better rear drop and overall width. So I have been looking for a set of them instead. What are your feelings on that? Thanks.

i just use pu or 4runner axles because i can usually buy the whole truck for cheap.also alot easier to find. ive beat the heck out of my track in 05 and the only thing i had a problem with was a rear axle breaking and one front axle breaking. i replaced them with chrome moly and never had a problem since........knock on wood...
