New Project, Cj leafs, missing link..
« on: February 17, 2006, 07:55:13 PM »
I have been searching around alot, and i was thinking about doing 3' calimini lift, but kinda of spendy price wise,

So i decided on doing ruf/CJ With either missing link front or front and rear is thats possible

I got some Donor CJ leafs off Snakeman, and i already have stock sammi leafs,

So what should i get besides,

-cj leafs
-Extended brank line,
-Sky's shock tower's
-Doestch tech  8000 long travel shocks 32" extended 18.5" compressed
-Trail tough eurthane bushing kit
-Trail tough missing link

What else would be needed for this swap ?

thanks Jason

Personaly I would stay away from the missing links. Ive never had any but everybody I know that has had em either bolt them shut or gets rid of them. Just my opinion remember.

I run cj's in the rear w/ missing links & ruf w/links for 5 years now. No problems & I drive mine 160 miles a week. I would suggest driveshaft spacers or longer shafts w/doublecardon joints. I run shafts. :)

RUF with M/L, CJ's out back for over a year and no problems.  I've been running M/L for well over 4 years with no worries.
Gets street driven a lot during the summer and I've never had a problem.
