Tracker snow bumper cars.

No. It's not a fun game.

So needless to say I had a mishap while driving today. We got a lot of snow and I needed to pick up my girlfriend, and I started to slide going around a corner and got nailed in the back left corner of the bumper when the guy behind me coudn't stop.

The damage wasn't so bad. the bumper is cracked and it got  bent and pulled out of the clip on the left side. It was rubbing on the tire and I had to pry the bracket (bumper mount?) back so I could drive. Other than that there wasn't any other damage. The other guys jeep was OK too. Other than a ding in his bumper.

I'm going to go to the junkyard this weekend to pick up a new bumper and the piece that was bent. My digital camera isn't working but I have a diagram picture. I think it's the #5 piece.

Does anyone know about how much the bumpers run pricewise used?

Needless to say though I also hit a roadsign on the way home. Just not my day today I guess. :P I was going slow and it not like it was a big curve or anything, but somehow I went straigt and into the sign.  The sign was clobbered but there was no damage at all to my front bumper. Just backed out and went right home. Ya gotta love these things. Next time someone tells me Trackers aren't safe, I'll have proof that they are. If nothing else, I've since come to the realization from this and other incidents, that Trackers (and Kicks I'm sure) like to bounce off things when you get hit, and/or hit something. lol. Gotta love those big black bumpers!   :)

Wish I could help you out, but that "number 5 piece" was a chunk that I cut off ....

It is now in the local land fill.

It's really none of mu business, but your fixing the damage yourself because you got the payout from your insurance company, right?

And on topic, I have no idea, buy a calmini bumper  ;D

I'd stay out of the casinos for awhile, unless you're headed to KC, then let me know, and I'll tell you which one to go to, and I will gladly sit down with ya  ;) JK- Remember, bad luck has streaks, so does the good luck, roll with the punches, it'll be over soon.

Call Hawk(1-888-samurai). They can let you knw what a fair price is and may be able to ship one to your door cheaper than getting it from a Junk Yard. ;)

I have about 500 pounds of Calmini Steel at the front and back of my rig.  If somebody wants to play BumperKicks with me, they're gonna be seeing some CARNAGE!

 My luck continues...

Well aparently some unforseen force has it out for my Tracker. This morning someone tried to kill it.
Our house has steep hill of a driveway with a small road pull off at the bottom. I had parked my Tracker at the bottom last night to make it easier to get out in the morning. So when I went out this morning to go warm it up, I was greeted by a police officer. Aparently in with the crappy road conditions some woman slid off the road and right into my tracker. Smashed up the whole right backend. It's pretty bad looking. Still drivable once I pried the bumper away from the tire. On the bright side, the cop said there's nothing to worry about and it'll all be on her insurance.
Pure crazyness.   :P
