Shocks
« on: February 27, 2005, 07:20:29 PM »
Anyone having any experiences with Doetsch Tech Shocks ???
I need other rear shock's to make the ride of my lift kit better. Or maybe there are other shocks that'll do?

They are great shocks and very popular among the Zuki crowd. I have been running them for about 3 years and like them a whole lot.

I ordered up a pair of napa #94058 and installed them tonight.

They are your basic gas charged shock and ran $14 each. They measure out to about 24" extended and 13.5" compressed.

I've not "tested" them yet (will wheel with them sunday), but they have about 4" more travel than stock and seem to have a soft valving.

About the only problem I have now, is they let the rear flex so much, the spring wants to fall out when fully flexed! I might actually need some limit straps back there now.

I don't suffer from insanity, I enjoy it.
