Heres another thing.
Check to see if the timing belt has been replaced.
(every 60,000 miles)
And they use a Wix or Napa Gold oil filter.

All I know is that its white 4x4 hard top with just over 200km.I asked if it was a 16v, the person said ya,1.6 I laughed, have to go see for my self I guess.
I'm not sure but I've been told by two different people that the 16v is crap?(NO IDEA)
Anyways thanks for the info!!!

Hi,

There are some who think that the 1.6 8v has better low end torque and they prefer it for the trail.  Iwouldn't know.  I have never driven an 8v on the trail or the road.  I have a 16v, and with 89k miles on it, I like it.  It has been reliable, and adequate for the mild off road that we do.

If you are going exterme, you might want to talk to someone who has more experience with the 8v.

But I agree...  ...Power Steering :)...

Make sure the manual hubs (if they are manual, that is) turn, and put into 4WD and make sure it has that grab to it. Mine didn't work when I got it, and I am still mad at myself for not checking >:(

That's just it, there is nothing wrong
with those filters, but Fram is crap,
sorry to say, you won't find a good
filter on most trucklets

I run 16v i love it much more power my buddy has a 8v
he is running 5.83 gears and sadly at the moment i had to go back to stock (#$%$#) front end. but i can still get of the line faster and top end much faster.
but look after it she is more picky then the 8v
16v raw power ya! almost as powerfull as my lawn tracktor. ps the headers help as well  :o
