That sucks dude.  :o That's it. I am adding a fire extinguisher to mine. I have been working to hard to get this thing the way I like it to watch it go up in in smoke.  :'(

Sry man.  Gonna get a new one and start building?

I carry an extinguisher and the other day, for the life of me, could not get it out of its holder!  This makes me wanna fix it fast.

The TDS Safari requires you to have
an extiguisher, so I mounted one 4
years ago. So the other night I'm enjoying
the new engine, and round a corner a
little fast, one of the swampers in the back
(seats removed) slides over an pushes the
extiguisher handle, powder everywhere inside
the trucklet  :P

Ohh well, better to have and not needed than
needed and not have.

Sorry to hear about the trucklet  :'(

Mine is a '90, so I better watch out. I wonder what was on the distributor that ignited. Yours doesnt look bad enough to scap it. If it was mine, I would take a trip to the local pick and pull and strip one of all the parts I needed to fix it.

That sucks, I feel your pain.  :(

I know first hand what you are going through right now. I had a 1966 Buick Special, it looks just like a Skylark or a Chevelle of that era, which burnt up due to a short in the wiring harness. It sucked because I was in the process of customizing the car when it happened.  :'(

fire extinquisher is a for sure thing, i drove a Didge truck for the longest time worried about electrical fire (old dodges are known for that)
Now out of habit, thats the first mod I throw in.
