Mine has a permanent red stripe that runs along the plastic strips and on the bumpers. the plastic strips have the red piece molded into them (red plastic), but the bumpers just have a red strip of decal material in a groove, and it seems to be chipping off in a few places.

As for your grafics, take them off, as they make the car look weird ;). My favorite grafics are the ones that come on the 1980s and 1990s toyota pickups and 4 runners. most people dont like them and think that they look dated, but I think that they look good ;D. I almost want to get a set and adapt them(trim them) to fit on the tracker, but they seem to be quite pricey.
Runnin' it stock with 225/75R15s and an unmodified 8valve TBI motor (I need a doug thoroley header and a cam) (more power) (1.6 liters of madness) (vroom + sewing machine sounds)

Take them off.  I don't mind graphics but those are pretty bad.  THen again, it might contribute to the "sheep in wolves clothing" look.  Good luck!

Take a hair dryer to 'em. If you're really lucky, when you peel 'em off, there'll be fresh, new paint beneath 'em, and you'll have a shadow effect, kinda' like an old photograph negative. Besides... in a short while, those doors will be all tattooed anyway.

a hair dryer, or a heatgun and a little patience. go slow.
I use methyl hydrate to clean any sticky residue off the paint afterwords. Also use it before applying new decals.

Come on, Quaddawg, I have vinyl!   I love my stripe!

Personally, I say remove those vinyls and the plastic trim, but Id maybe replace them with some other decals.

I love my stripe!
