If all of you want to be pissed at me and not come to the trail clean up, thats fine, your only hurting your self. The more $hit we can work together on the better it is for everyone. Come on out to the trail clean up and help show the DNR and USFS we are serious about wanting to help out and get trails cleaned up so we can use them.

So, I guess I am saying, lets put it behind us, all of us had rather high tempers, lets have a beer and do some wheeling!

??? Hopefully not in that order.  :P

Anyway, the important thing is the clean-up. My wife and I ran some trails on Saturday and filled the Tracker with garbage that lazy |removethispart|@$$ pigs left in the woods. It is important to keep these trails clean or they will be closed. Here is the post from the greatlakes4x4 forum. I hope to make it.

This years clean up will be on Saturday April 29th. The meeting place will be the Car-Go Gas Station on M-120.

Cargo Food & Fuel Inc
5536 Holton Road,
Twin Lake, MI 49457
(231) 828-5119

As you pull in you should see lots of people at the back of the station and you should see at least one Duce (Kaiser) there, maybe 2 and maybe a couple skid steer loaders. I hope to see LOTS of you there , its always a good time, the USFS and DNR are always happy too!!

No not in that order, lets r-lax, have some fun wheeilng, have a d.d., then have a beer and have a good night being driven home by a sober driver.

s\/\/eet and thank you on behalf of all other wheelers. Because of the amount of garbage, tires, etc. I kept seeing in the woods and because of the upcomming trail clean up, I contacted the DNR and asked if it would be OK if as I found tires I transported them to where the dumpsters would be. The last thing I need is to be out in the woods, pick up a tire, carry it to where the dumpsters will be and get caught "dumping" tires in the woods. So now the DNR has a description of my vehicles (Chevy and Jeep) I wheel with and the plate numbers so they know I am only helping with the clean up, not dumping.

I would like to go since I missed the last one, my nextel store got broke into and I ended up having to remodel. Anyhow I would love to make it up there from Grand Rapids. How much wheeling are you guys planning on doing and how rough will the trails be? I have a 92 with 4 inch body lift on 31' ATs. Will this be enough to get me through? I hope so, I went mudding a few days back and was amazed with its capabilities, seems a am an ex- lifted chevy guy... LOL

I really don't know much about the clean-up as far as how much wheeling is done. I have heard rumor that some locals are planning to wheel this weekend in West Michigan. Send a PM to purpletracker about it and he could let you know what is up. It would be cool if you could make the clean-up though too. It'd be nice to have a good turn out of Zuks at that just to gain some respect.

I THINK I will be able to make this one. As long as I can come up with gas money I will be loading up with tools, spare parts, and be heading out... See ya there, hopefully. Also do I need an ORV sticker? And if so where do I get it? Sec. of State?

You can get one at any place that sells hunting and fishing licenses. I picked mine up at Meijers. SOS no longer issues them. I should be there too. See ya there.
