Would you be able to tell me if you think the gastank from the XL-7 would fit under the Tracker?

I got to wondering about it and figured you might know or be able to check.

Wondering if it's worth it to swap for extra milage.
Stock Tracker 14.5
XL-7 is 16.9

Is it worth the 2.5 extra gallons?

One issue with raising the tank on a 99+ is that Suzuki put frame rails over the gas tank.  Notice the two cross member running front to back in the rear of the frame.

Sorry for the delay.  Buying house/moving/swapping drivetrains.......busy boy.  Haven't been on any forums for a long, long time.

Couldn't have helped much anyway, though.  The rear of the XL7 I was using was creamed.  The gas tank was pretty well crushed.  Didn't leak, though.
