I know its been covered before. But what are ur thoughts i need tires i have BFG A/T and looking at getting a set of M/T for summer and the A/T for winter.

What are they like on the street and so forth

I say go for it, it's a good tire, ran them for years on several rigs, got about ten years on each set, quiet and very good traction and light weight for gas mileage, the bad , the side walls do not like sharp rocks and sharp sticks, but still a good tire over all.

How are they comparded to the BFG A/T im not into big bush wacking around here. Just go hit some mud and stuff want some more traction.

I like them, I run 31 x 10.5 on my tracker now.  They drive good on the street, have good traction off-road.  Although heed the warning from MRFUELISH, I had one on my 71 bronco have a little stick go threw it...right after I purchased them.  Needless to say, a tire plug works well in their sidewalls too (although you're not suposed to do that).   

I never ran A/T's on my Tracker but on my bronco, I ran A/T's the first time around and the second I ran the M/T's.  I liked the M/T's a lot more off-road.  On road, they did wear down faster than the A/T's.  As for performance, I never had  a problem with either one.  I my current case, my tires will probably rot off the car before I drive it far enought to wear the tires down.  Also keep in mind as far as wearing goes, my experience is based off of a heavier vehicle (about 4,200 lbs).  The tracker is a lot lighter so the tire wear will be a lot less.

my 30" bfg m/t's have barely worn in 10,000 road miles.  Really good traction on road compared to what i thought they'd be like.  I can spin them when it's really wet, but here in seattle it's always damp to some extent.  I think the bfg m/t's are a great choice for all around tire on a kick.

Are the sidewalls not as good as the A/T

The sidewalls are the same as the AT.  The AT and MT use the same carcass and only the treads and treaded part of the sidewall are different as far as the casting goes.
If you see less than 40k on any radial Mud with a stock Suzuki something's wrong with your truck, not the tire.

I think what the guys are saying is that while tough they're not impossible to kill.  They aren't a Swamper TSL/SX or a Michelin XML.  I've seen them do rockcrawling at 5psi or less with no sweat...but then I doubt many conventional tires would do well with having a sharp(ish) stick jabbed at their sidewall with a bit of force.

Personally I only run mud terrains now.  Have them siped and they'll do you great in the winter.  My Mud King XT's that I had siped and my TrXus MT's (factory siping) have been the best winter tires I've ever had.  MUCH better than the AT's and AS's I've run before that.  Stick to the road thanks to the siping and have the tread void and depth to dig through the deep stuff.

Both good tires but keep in mind that the TSL/SX is a HEAVY bias ply tire.  It'll let you know when it's cold and won't be the longest lived.  That said it's a great offroad tire.

The tsl is a heavy tire, your mileage will suffer, and your ride.

I ran BFG M/T's on my K5 for years. They handled nicely on the road and were awesome off-road. They wore really well and since it was heavier I would expect that they would last longer on a zuk. When I have a little more money I will be getting a set for my Sami. 

TSL's are heavy, and street ride sux. I would not rec. for a street tire, but I love mine offroad.
