Calmini 2 inch exhaust
« on: May 19, 2006, 07:45:57 AM »
The build up continues...

I just found out that I need a new muffler...so I now have an excuse to buy a whole new exhaust system  ;D.

I really like calmini's 2 inch set up (comes with hi-flow air filter as well). I can get it for around 200 bucks as well.

1. How does it sound? Is it:

"LOOKATMEIHAVEACHEESEGRATERFORAMUFFLERBRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRROOOOOM!!!!!!"

or

does it actually sound good? A little volume, but a nice purrrr.

2. How does it stand up to corriosion? Edmonton winters = Lots of road salt.

Once again, thanks for the opinions!

On a trail run a while back, I ripped the muffler real bad, got home, and just cut the pipe behind the cat and still sounds quiet ... in fact in sounds pretty good now  ;D

Since your muffler is toast, cut the pipe and see what you think ...
