Bio-Diesel Kick

Has anybody done a diesel conversion with a kick?
Does anybody have a biodiesel suzuki?
Is this possible?
I think it would be great if worked out right  ;D

I have run my Samurai Diesel on BioD and it works great.
There are a few people onthe Diesel board that have installed them in track/kicks.

do you make your own bio-diesel?
What kind of gas mileage did you get?

No problems at all, easiest swap I've ever done.
A friend makes the BioD
I get around 27 mpg but its a brand new motor and is still being broke in. Should get 30 to 32 mpg after 5000 miles.

Suzuki, not fot the US market though.

I did mine outside in my gravel driveway. It was very easy.

my 1.6lt suzuki engine still has some life in yet. But I really want to put a 1.6 vw diesel in it and run either bio diesel or svo. I have never done a motor swap, and seems pretty in depth to me; and expensive. Maby in the near future. I would really like to get a 4 door sidekick, with the diesel in it as the familly wagon. It's pretty interesting stuff though.

Looks like the swap is as complicated as you want to make it. If you go with a kit from these guys http://www.acmeadapters.com/index.php?sound=Y it'll cost you around $550 for the "delux" kit wich makes your life really easy.

It seems to get more complex if you elect to do upgrades at the same time like:
AC Delco Alternator
Power Steering
A/C
Remote oil cooler

The only other motor swap I've ever done was the 16V. The diesel swap is much easier.

Added bonus of the diesel swap if you want to run bigger tires....

Appairently if you use around 30" tires and stock tranny, it puts the motor BACK into it's power range. In other words - you don't need gear reduction :)

Something to keep in mind when you're doing the "acutual" cost of the swap.
