yea the thing i dont like about the boondox lifts is they look like a smaller lift than the calmini lift

to me they don't, a 3 inch lift isn't that big on a kick because they are so freaking low stock. My friend's 3 inch lifted calmini kick wasn't much taller than my stock GV and it had 31's. I think boondox should make a 5 inch lift or somewhere around there for 1st and 2nd gen vitara's/trackers with some really gnarly control arms. It would be nice to have that much travel

I personally want 4 or 5 inches of lift on my GV without any body lift.. I might have to make some control arms when I have another Daily driver.. I'd like dual conrtol arm but that would take some mad skills I don't know if I have. I might try someday and maybe even be selling my own kit! who knows. But anyways, I think there needs to be at least 4 inch suspension lift kits for these little beasts

well if i got a 3" suspenion lift and a 2" coilspacer wouldent that be a 5" suspenion lift? or would it not work with the boondox lift or the calmini lift?

you'd want to be sure you have the travel needed with your struts, brake line length might not cut it so you may have to extend those, you would probably have to drop the front axle even more than calmini or boondox brackets do.. not sure if there would be anything else but I was actually thinking I want to turn a calmini 2.5 kit into a 4 inch lift someday. a 5 inch suspension lift would be cool. Might be a bit much for the stock conrtol arms and suspension links you'd still be using with boondox though.. that's the only problem with boondox but they seem like they have a really nice kit for 1st gen vits

but yea, with the propper things done on the side I bet you could make one of those into a 5 inch..

3" of lift is 3" of lift, no matter who's name is on the box.

5" of lift would be really hard on the cv-joints unless you lowered the diff further than Calmini or Boondox do.
