My rear brake drums are frozen with rust to the axle hub. Does anybody have any tricks for getting them un-stuck?

Make sure your e-brake isn't pulled.

There should be two threaded holes in the drum where it meets up with the hub.  A couple of metric bolts threaded in there should help extract the drums.

I loosen up the four nuts about two turns and take it around the block real slow making hard left and right turns, if it sounds to dangerous for you don't do it.

Break cleaner and use the 2 taped holes in the  drum and run 2 metric screws in it m8x1.25 i believe should work "8mm 1.25 pitch on the thread and about 2 inch long."

8mm refers to the shaft of the bolt not the head, for thoes that dont know.

   I can't see these two holes in the brake drum you guys are referring to. Are they on the outside of the drum (the side the tire mounts to) or are they on the inside of the drum (by the brake line)? I have a '87 Samurai in case you're referring to a Tracker.
  I tried driving it around the block a few times with the 4 Drum mounting nuts loosened and the drum is still stuck. Maybe I should get a little crazier with this technique?
  I did make sure that the Emergency brake is off and the drum spins fine so I assume that it's not hanging up on the brake pads.

Go to the parts store andr rent a slide hammer and the axle puller that attaches to your wheel lugs.  A few good whacks and the drum should pop right off.  I just had to do that to my 88 samurai.  

Now heres a question for you guys,   I've put my new brake shoes on and have the E-brake unhooked, but I can't get the drum to go back on.  It looks like the shoes are as tight as they can get, but its still too tight.  The only thing I can tell is that i may just not have them aligned right up and down to make them fit, but it still seems pretty tight.  ANYONE have any tips to help me out?

   Success! I just had to get a little more aggressive with the driving while the drum nuts were loose. (Spun some donuts in a dirt field). Drum loosened right up.
  Hey Sami88, I was reading in the manual and if the drums won't go back on you have to release the automatic adjustment ratchet. If you look right under the wheel cylinder you'll see a knurled wheel with a knurled lever pressing up against it. Push a flat blade screwdriver between the wheel and the lever and push the lever down as far as it will go. According to the manual that will give you maximum clearance between the shoe and drum.

I knew ya would do it.  

Plenty of good advise ...another way is to bolt the wheel back on, with the four bolts out, Sam on a jack stand, spin the tire and whack the back side with a 5 lb hammer, but then you would miss spinning those doughnuts
