Tippmann Instant air, portable air (co2) kit
« on: May 31, 2006, 05:41:55 PM »
Hey guys, I was telling some members about what I use for trail air.

I use this

http://leather-working.com/catalog/product_info.php?cPath=73&products_id=206&osCsid=897e53a156893aa803c41e4d6e0da1bf

It comes in a great little plastic case, and you can usually air up all four tires, twice at least, before you refill it.  Comes with a 20oz Paintball tank.  I have gotten three air ups, 12 tires from mine before too.

Well, just read, it will tell you what you can do.  The regulator gives you about 100psi on demand.  It WILL freeze up, but not too bad.. it's the most handy thing I have EVER bought for air.. blows ALL 12v compressors away. It takes SECONDS to air up a tire, even from 0 pressure.. NOT minutes, you can do all 4 in less than 5 minutes..

I fill mine off of my 20# tank that I use for refilling paintball, and I take an extra 20oz with me on the trails.

ANWAY, at one time, I had a wholesale agreement with them, and my pricing was fairly decent, I have a hard time remembering what it was, but I have just emailed the main guy in charge of marketing, and asked him if he would provide ZukiWorld members with a group discount.

SO... when he gets back with me, I will post the pricing he gives me, I am not interested in making a DIME. Not a dime.

After I post the pricing, I would like to know if any of you guys are interested.  I am sure the minimum order will be 10. I asked for 10,20 and 30 pricing.

If you are at ALL interested, the retail is $110, plus shipping. I am hoping to get $90 as a price, but he may shoot me a deal. I know he is having a hard time moving them, as they refuse to do any large scale advertising, hoping instead that word of mouth will get the product to take off.

I swear, you have NEVER used a more convenient air source, you can clip the thing to your belt, and hook up a framing nailer and shoot 100 nails, or a brad nailer and shoot up to 500 brads.. great for punch out, and finish up work in contruction..

Just read it.. I know, I know, I sound like I am trying to sell them. I am not.. just get one from them for $110 and you will STILL love it. You can't buy a regulator for a 20oz CO2 bottle for that, at least I don't think so.. and you get a bottle too, which are $30.00 I think.. and a blow gun, and a hose, and a case, and I got a tire guage (it sucked though) and a fill adapter too (paintball fill stations work better)

Let me know.. I love to share things that work.. and I use this thing every other day it seems..

Well, I got the quote, it's not that great.  $90 plus $3.00 shipping each.. and that is in bulk to me, I would have to charge at least $6-8 shipping to each person..  SO....

Nevermind.. LOL, the savings isn't good enough to bother with.

ANYWAY, if you folks want a great portable air source, I'd recommend getting  one direct from Tippmann Industrial.

good alternative, but why not just run a AC compressor to have OBA?

So how many uses would a guy get when we're talking 31x10.5 to 33x12.5" sizes?

Where and how can I get this refilled?  How much would a refill cost me on average?

Interested but wary...mongo no trust new things... :P

That is what I use to fill the little one.  The little one weighs a couple of pounds, and is truly portable, doesn't take up much room, just a few inches by a few inches, in a case. you can toss it in Mom's grocery getter, or take it on long trips, etc..

I have both.

All that is in the reading.  I am not going to type it all out again.

Except cost.  I don't even pay attention, if you have it filled (silly, when you can buy a 20#er and fill it yourself)  I think it's a couple of bucks to have it filled at my Dick's sporting goods..  I forget, cause I don't do that.. I fill my son's paintball stuff, AND this at home, from my big tank.

Hey, I am not making anything on this, so I am not going to try to sell you. When I saw it, I knew I had to have it. When I got it, I was glad.

I hate being a salesman.  I don't care if you buy one.... LOL...

I have NO idea on shipping to Oz.  Everything I have ever shipped there was high as hell.

Check with Matt, and ask him for the Demo price he gave to:

Andrew Stanford, Stanford Sales,  that is me.

Did you miss the portability??  It's in a small plastic case you can put on your ATV, 4x4, mower, bicycle... etc... the case is about  8x10x4 inches and a couple of pounds.. won't QUITE fit in your glove box, but close!!

Try moving your OBA to another vehicle real quick, or taking it on vacation in another car or boat or....

whew... guys I am NOT trying to sell these, I am trying to share a good connection on a price, on a product that SHOULD sell itself...

OK,  I am getting out of the middle.

Just email Matt at:

matts|removethispart|@tippmannindustrial.com

and tell him you want a demo from the trade show, at the price he quoted

Andrew Stanford from Stanford Sales.

Work out the details with him.

Tell him you are from Zukiworld  Website/Club  (he didn't quite understand, so I called it a club...lol)

Just trying to help guys,  if you have the vision to see how useful this is, how easy and economical it is to set up to fill your own, then get one.. if it looks like a hassle to you, then it probably will be.  For me, I use this thing CONSTANTLY and love it.. your mileage may vary.

Emailed him.  Still not sure if I want this setup or a small compressor but eh, we'll see what he has to say.

Derr, forgot to ask him, what's the difference between the Auto and the Construction/ATV models aside from $10?  It looks to me like both ads are identical. ???
