I have an chance to buy back my 92 tracker from the guy i sold it to. when i sold it to him it had an overheating problem. he blew the head gasket and overheated the head till it warp. he got a new head and gasket put on. then the computer went bad. he got a new computer for it now and it still has an overheating problem.
i can buy this thing back for about $500. would this be worth it you think? i only want it for the 1.6 8v and the rear end and pumpkins......for my sammy. i can part it out then after that

For $500 yeah,

you could part it out and make that back easy if all else fails

I've made that much in parts off of my '90 already.  Buy it.

sold it to him for $900. bought my sammy with that money. only thing i have to figure out is how to get rid of the stuff no one buys. i hate taking stuff to junk yards. floor pans and behind rear seat have rust holes. but like i said i just want for the engine/ecm/harness, maybe third members.

Got a friend with a truck and trailer?  Winch/drag/pull it up onto the trailer and off you go.  The local metal scrappers here will actually take the car off your trailer with a big Cat "fork lift" so all you have to do is get it there.

BAH he just said he was going to buy another DD so he can fix the tracker up to offroad haha just my luck
