Lifted a bit
« on: June 04, 2006, 10:38:09 AM »
I finally had time to put on my new lift! its a Calmini 2" S/R with new napa shocks(longer then stock) Got off work saturday monring at 1:00 AM and decided i couldn't wait till i woke up to start on lifting it. Grabbed myself a beer and went to wrenching on it. It took me about 4 hrs since i was working by myself but got it done! first 2 pics are at 5:30am right before i hit the sack. I was way to tired to stay up and mod the bumper to fit on so i did it later that day. Looks really good I think and it handles SO MUCH BETTER! No more dodging potholes.Tires are hopefully on the way and hopefully the guy in town will have my rockrails done soon. anyway here are the pics. what you think?

those are actually 205's. there are 2 sets behind on the pax side. 1 set is 30"x9.5" on stock rims. i got the tires because they were suppose to have good tread left, which they did but they wore so funny that if i am doing 30 mph it jumps all over the place. other set is a set of M/T 15"x8" rims off a newer model ford with unknown tires. i was going to use these on my sammy since they are same lug pattern but the hole in the middle was not big enough for the hubs.
