These are a friction fit, no welding onto
the spring, and just use the same point
to measure from, spring to top and the
length should be fine, even an 1/8" off
from side to side won't show, and I'm
sure you'll get it closer than that.
If you want 3" lift, use the highest point
that the coil would touch when installed
stock, I removed the rubber pad that's on
the top side of the coil bucket, the thin edge
would probably cut thru anyway, unless you
use some sort of ring about the thickness
of the coil on the top, now you need some
Crown Victoria rear shocks and a balljoint
spacer and you have a 3" lift, in the rear anyway
