If anyone who lives where the plastic spare tire "hub caps" came on the spares of GV's/Vits/XL7's/etc could get me their part number, I'd appreciate it.  Sounds like Europe, Australia, NZ, and others...but not North America.  Here's where I first became aware of it:

Looks like this:

Here's some pictures off of sergi's ride:

The stock vinyl spare cover no longer fits our spare with the 225/75R16 mud tire on there so I'm looking to replace it with something different.  I'd love to get one of these for the different look here in the States.  However the part number sergi mentions in the above link doesn't seem to be a valid part number.  The Suzuki parts guy I talked to here in Michigan said it isn't even the right configuration to be a Suzuki part number.  Could anyone get it for me?  Also, if there's other peices necessary to mount it, could you get those part numbers too?

Really don't want to have to use one of the generic Heep ones all the Heepers around here use.

Thanks guys.

I've seen those covers over here on Trackers. In fact, I think I saw one in a local junk yard.... ...but I'm not sure on that.

That's a good idea, I should get one for my Tracker.  The Tracker's always came with 15" wheels so it won't work for a GV/XL-7
2002 4DR Tracker V6 ZR2.... 1.5"/2" coil spacers front/rear, BDS Strut Extensions, 235/75R15 Cooper STT... They ROCK!!!

Ah, good thinking... 15 inch, 16 inch, whatever it takes! :)

Yeah, I thought of that too intially...then the different size thing hit me.  Don't feel bad though, that's been suggested to me twice in other places as well. :P

The new GV's have them on the spare. Check to see if they will fit. I have often thought about the same thing on mine. I have a 265/70/16 so the vinyl cover is out the picture for good. I can't remember if they have Grand Vitara on them or if it just says Suzuki.

Worth a shot though.

All the '06+ GV's that I have seen have full covers for the spares...or am I missing something?

i went to the dealer some time ago looking for one of these after i had seen one on a new GV. I got a guy from the parts department to come out and take a look at a GV on their lot with the cover, he found the cover on the computer the price was... listen to this USD 174.99 thats without the 13 dollar suzuki sticker :o  outta my budget for a piece of plastic i dont know about you guys :P however some new toyota rav4s i have seen driveing around have one the rav has 16 inch rims and i think the toyota part is cheeper but i havent had time to look. Anyone live near a toyota dealer?
