Again about tires.
Hello guys, I've collected some info from several topics here about tire replacement, but nobody was talking about truck performance overall. Let say how it will affect on gear box, gas milege, dinamic of the truck, breaks  and etc.? I'm planning to go with 225/70R16 on stock rims. And also I think Suzuki put 235/60R16 size for reason,am I right? Any experience with truck performance with new tires?

i run 245/7016 and theres a major diferance then stock size
mostly the acceleration- its horrible now

going with 225/70 you will see only very minor changes.  But on a good note you have an 04 which has 4.3 R&P so you could change that out. But you would need to go a lot bigger than 225/70.   Any way most people that have go to 225/70/16 just say how much better the ride is no other real complants.

how is gas mileage on 225/70's compared to236/60-16? in Norway we can only go 5% up or down :'(
and one profile up is pretty close

I've got 225/75R16's on the wifes GV and we get about 21-22mpg on the highway.  Around town it's about 18-19mpg.  If you baby it (which neither of us can) it seems like mpg didn't go down much at all...if we just drive normally for us it's about a 1-2mpg loss.  For the much better quality of tires and their capabilities on and offroad we don't mind the trade.

I found on my 98 2L vitara that when i went up to 225/75/r16
the mpg went down and i could no longer smoke em.

i found extrctors and a good sports system fixed this. 

should have the same effect when i go up to 235/75/16 with
my v6 gv
