I learned the hard way
« on: July 10, 2006, 09:19:37 PM »
don't put in your lift and take your zuk out and then get all exited and drive up a hill when your struts are zap straped into place. (don't have the strut spacers yet) That was a very bad idea and it looked really bad when i got out but it wasn't too bad.  Cost me 2 hours and $30.00 for new lower ball joints :'(

It's always those little things that bite you in the butt.
90 Samurai 4" lift finally installed.  Now it's time for some good tires.

I was being sarcastic. no need for axle drop brackets on a sami. but seriously, 1600 is super cheap for a coil conversion if you ask me

I drove my buddies tj last week off road the one I put an old man emu lift in and after you run it hard the shocks start to loosen up and i'm not sure I like the ride after that. the coils get bouncy.

yea, my ome struts let the front get a little bouncy as well. ome shock absorbers are too soft. go with rancho shocks, pro comps, skyjackers.. whatever it takes, not ome
