Front Hard Top / Rear Soft Top??
«

Has anyone done this before? I would like to keep the front hard sunroof on and just have the rear section as a convertable. I was wondering if anyone has modfied there soft top to accomodate this.
I don't like having the sun blazing down on my head but I like having the back open. I usually just remove the rear hard top but we have been getting alot of rain this summer and so it's been going on and off all the time or I'm getting caught in the rain.
Thanks for any advice

You could get a bikini top to but on the trackick. Keeps the sun off and only takes a second to put on after you take the other top off, I use mine all the time. They are normally cheap anyway.

people get old soft tops from junk yards real cheap and modify them all the time from what I've seen. not how you plan but I recomend a junk yard top.. especially in case you mess up, cheap mistake that way

Afriend of mine does that with his sammie, just puts a couple of small holes in the front of the soft top.

Thanks for the in put. I have 3 old soft tops that I picked up very cheap and mounting hardware for 2. I thought I'd play around with the worst one and then when I figure it out I'd use a good one. I really want to keep the hard top on the front and only have the rear section as a soft top.
Thanks

Bestop make one called the 'Sunport', there may be others. You might be able to find a used one somewhere.

I have the Sunport top & love it because of all the options. I will never buy another top (unless its used & cheap) besides the Sunport.
