you can get pro comp, rancho, etc shocks that are made for certain vehicles with certain ammounts of lift. for example, I did almost 2 inches of lift in the back of my GV so I got pro comp 2 inch lift shocks

just go to pro comps site or rancho's and look at thier charts. be careful about skyjacker shocks cause my friend got some 3 inch lift shocks for his comanche and they were shorter than stock :o. he had to return them and get 5 inch lift shocks which were about right..

yup, I'd say pro comps work well, my dad's had great luck on his dakota with rancho, they work great and another one of my friends loves skyjacker shocks on his grand cherokee and he's had stock, pro comp and now skyjacker so he's got something to compare them to
2000 Grand Vitara.. boondox coil spacer lift w/ pro comp 2 inch lift shocks and ome struts. 225/75 R16 Kumho Mt's, powdercoated wheels, rear brake line relocation and stuff to acomodate. custom exhaust and intake along with some 1 off accesories.
