Process of elimination. Start from the top down. I washed mine and found the valve cover gasket. Washed it then found the distributor and distributor shaft housing o-rings failed. Pcv wasn't working right the way the hose was set up, fixed that. Washed it. Leaking out the timing cover. Replaced the seals along with the timing belt. Washed it. Oil pan gasket leaked. Replace and washed. Trans oup put leaked, fixed. Inputs and outputs on transfer leaked. Fixed. All in all, the parts seamed to be less than $120.00 although I did have a shop do the timing belt and front seals. I did the rest. No more leaks at all. Now if I inspect during regular oil changes, I can catch em as they happen. All pretty easy work, just time consuming but well worth it. Adam.
