Good word
« on: June 22, 2005, 11:44:14 AM »
after all that has transpired in the last week I thought i might say a good word.
one week ago my father ordered a 2" suspension lift from calmini. they said it would ship that day. well, 5 days later it showed up on his doorstep.
all i can say is "thank you" to calmini for building a great product and trying your hardest to deliver in a timley mannor. I hope all future dealings can go this smooth :D

LOL!

Anyway, maybe they've done something for the betterment of their clients and to improve their customer care. Good move. It's a start :)

I called about my lift today and they were quite appologetic about it taking so long so they refunded me the shipping cost!  8) Not a small bill for a heavy item to canada! I have no problems with any company that tells me what the problems are and tries to make it right.

I am glad someone is spreading the " good word " for a change. Too bad this thread won't go 12 pages.

I was adding up what I have spent at Calmini over the last six years....More than $20,000 !!!  OK ...so $16,500 was for the Vitara, which is the best damn " car " I have ever owned and I've had some nice ones. But this CALMINI V6 VITARA is awesome. It turns heads everywhere I go, which is way 8).

The other $4,500 in Sammy stuff is still doing what it was designed to do. Every penny was well spent. :)

On the few items that I've ordered from Calmini, I got them quick. Took a week from order to doorstep for my body lift, and two weeks order to doorstep for my suspension lift. No gripes with them getting my stuff out on time. :)

I said this in the Heather vs. Calmini thread.  I think the two inch lift is less popular, so they have them on the shelf, ready to ship.  Unlike the "popular" three inch lift which they probably can't build enough of.   :-/

Just speculation! Not trying to start rumors or defame anyone.   ;D

I just know that it can take a long time to get some of their products.  So any big projects I have I plan them for late winter and order the stuff I need in the fall to early winter (most of the time  :P)

When I first was getting the Tracker together (3years ago) I was short a set of 5.83 R&P for the rear.  Calimini was realy good to work with and they ended up sending me Steves personal spare set that they were taking with their truck to events incase of a brake down.

So, Steve gave you the shirt off his back ? That is way more than you can expect from any business...even though you paid for the spare R/P set, it still left him naked for a while...( flash -  bad mental picture / sorry bought that Steve )  :o  ::)
