It is a very original vehicle for someone who likes the fast and bicurious(I mean furious) look, but wants something different or with more room. I'm a big fan of the color orange so I find it more appealing to most.
Thanks. The NSX Imora Orange took me a while to find and Im happy it turned out that nice.
One: where are you...I bet this car will bring 8-9 g's in a warm and affluent environment such a California, but would probably only fetch 5500-6k in a cold economically depressed area such as here in Buffalo.
I am from Hawaii. 6 years ago it seemed I had the ONLY tracker on the island. Now there are at least 10 up my hill alone! They are getting really popular although most of the drivers look like old hippies. (which I am not) They also seem to sell fast although again that is with the older crowd. (ie. stock trackers)
Second: you've done some cutting and chopping here and the quality of your body work is key. You need to take an objective walk around the car and ask yourself "can I see the seams/bondo on the cuts/joints, are there sanding marks/dirt/orange peel in the finish, and is there enough material on all areas and is it blended properly?"
It is by no means "perfect" Maybe an 8 out of 10. You cant see a few imperfections in the picture although in person its that much more striking which kinda balances out. No sanding marks/dirt/bondo but keep in mind that it doesnt have the 20,000 paintjob that some people swear by. The orange peel on mine is miniscule and I havent even waxed it yet.
Third: how bad do you want the cash for it. Do you have time to take it to "ricer" car shows with a for sale sign on it and hold out until the right buyer offers you the high end of the ranges I just gave you(I would also take it to a couple of classic car shows because you might find a guy who likes it for it's originality and mpg's for a daily driver). Or, do you need to put it in the paper and get cash for it ASAP?
Im definitely taking it to a "ricer" show but I just have to find the time. I basically want to sell it to someone who will appreciate it. (might be hard to find without that car show) A friend from cardomain sold his with a bodykit and the first thing the new buyer did was literally RIP it off. And I do not by any means need the money ASAP.
On a side rant, thank you for bringing your lowrider to Zukiworld. Many of us forget that this is a SUZUKI website, not an offroad website. Although we offroaders outnumber you on-road guys, your cars are just as Suzuki as ours, just as neat and original as ours, and you're contribution here just as important. Please continue to post street Zuks here too. And where are all the dudes with Swifts and Metros???!!!
Its nice to know that you think of us like that. And Im sure Im not the only "street setup" member who appreciates the sentiment. Mahalo Nui Loa. Thank you very much.
(and I also agree about the swifts and metros)
