hey guys, had a question maybe someone can help me here.
it is on my 97 4 door sport model kick. it has power locks and out of the blue one day last week they stopped working?
i have a remote starter/locks as well but the unit is turned off right now.
when i drive the thing, the locks will act up now and then and lock an unlock. also, if i lock the truck and go into a store or the house, when i come back it is unlocked?????
any suggestions?
 ???

disconnect the remote lock unlock module from the door lock wiring. i have seen alarm modules do some funny things even when they are in valet mode. if the problem still happens then you could have a bad door lock switch or maybe a wire that is grounded out.

It's a classic poltergeist.  Perhaps you'll think twice next time before wheeling over ancient indian burial grounds.
