OMG! Look what finally came!
« on: September 22, 2006, 11:29:38 AM »
My God, Calmini is slow. It took 5 weeks for this to get here!

I started ripping it apart last night, and already I'm having problems! I broke one rear control arm bolt, and 2 others are stuck in the bushings...I'm gonna have to cut them out.

That's all for now, I'll report more later.

This is typical for Calmini.  I've waited MONTHS for some of their stuff.

I just cancelled my body lift order with them ordered it 3 weeks ago and was assured it would be shipped that week....after 5-6 calls I have given up.

MaskterKit1 now has my order for a 3" Body Lift.

Just be patient -- I ordered their 4140 axles from them and had the axles in less than 2 weeks.  They have a good product and it is worth the wait.

I generally get my orders within 2-3 weeks. And I live in New Zealand  :o

The product is worth the wait for sure.

Not to mention some vendors not even coming to the party full stop  ???

Got a little done on the Trac today...Day'um it's big! I had a TJ with 6" of lift on 35's in my garage which fit fine, and the tracker may not come out without airing down. :P

It should settle with a bit of driving and the new bumpers. (I hope) :P

Here you can see how close it will be to the door...

Calmini 6" combo + 1" spacers. The front isn't done yet, so I can't tell you about CV angles. I'm sure it''ll come down an inch or two with the new bumpers.

Tires are 32x11.50R15 SSR's (they measure the same height as my buddy's 33" LTB's).

Rims are 15x8 w/ 3 3/4 BS
