you could use alot of heat on the flange and let it set over night and see how it is, or try to tighten the nut a little bit more maybe that will loosen it up enough to get it off, not sure what else unless you use a bigger press, ten ton is not that big but it should come off, I had to use a one hundered ton press on my motor mounts. (ok they started to move at 17 ton LOL) good luck.

I've had them stick like that too, Normally I've managed to press them off after letting them sit overnight with some CRC on them. It's normally just a small amount of corrosion on the mating surfaces  holding them up so what I do to clean them up is put some valve cutting paste on them and press them on and off a few times until they are back to a stage where you can fit them together by hand again. If you just whack them back on without clean them up it will be hard to get the torque setting right for the pinion nut.

got it but it was siezed the whole way, heated the heck out of the flange, had a puller and a hammer, even the outer bearing was siezed but got it off the pinion with the 10 ton press, this took like an hour, also doing wheel bearings and managed to run the zip cut into my knuckle, i still dont know how i managed that brilliant manuver  :-[
