Won't just any magnetic block heater that you can get at a parts store do the trick? I am just curious....

Yeah, I know they call them block heaters though. I bought an old car once and in the trunk was what they used to use were the stick kind with a plug on the end, you'd take out your oil dipstick, and stick that thing down in it plugged in.
