well here I am , after owning big dodge trucks for years, have gotten sick of gas prices and not fitting in tight spots that jeeps can go into...
everyone around me has a jeep, I wanted something different, soooooooooo
I bought a 1997 Suzuki Sidekick JX, 4 door, man trans, man hubs, 118k on it, runs and looks great.....
Now onto the plans and please feel free to offer any advice you may like to...
First off, this will be a 50/50 vehicle,,, onroad and off. Here in Wyoming we get quite a bit of snow at times, so yeppers, must be able to get around... Here are my thoughts
31x10.50x15 tires with a few inches of backspacing
2 inch suspension lift, (looking at this one)
www.ironmansuspension.com2 inch body should clear the tire combo I mentioned (don't know where to get this yet)
roof rack for camping gear etc (haven't found one yet)
front and rear rock bumpers, have seen some I liked, made by SHROCKWORKS
Winch (what lb rating would you suggest)
regear the axles (what ratio would you all suggest?)
who knows what else in the future...
have looked around a little here, looks great so far, hope to learn lots
thanks
