Best snorkel...
« on: October 19, 2006, 07:36:08 PM »
Well, I am willing to install one of these badboys

Can anyone here recommend one that is:

1. Easy to find
2. Looks good
3. Easy to install

:D

I want to find one that I can move the top piece so that I can turn it backwards when driving in the rain

merci!

PS I have the 2.0L engine and the airbox is on the passenger side
I heard the Toyota 4 runner from the late 90's snorkle could fit

No disrespect... but I wanted a more traditional looking snorkel, an ARB style one with a top that I can adjust by turning it around for Rain & Wind

Also I might not want to incur the shipping costs to send one over from Taiwan

Any other models that might fit?

Their were ARB styled ones in their and as for the shipping to the US total cost was no more than buying are ARB snorkle from RRO .

I got one from VTTR about 5 months ago. I don't think i'm gonna keep. I paid 215.00 plus 50.00 shipping.

I might sell it if anyone is interested.

I know nothing about snorkels at all, do you have to turn all of them around when you drive in the rain?

Here is a picture of the VTTR snorkel. This is not my truck but it's the exact same snorkel I have.
