ok im getting a new fuel pump for my tracker those that have been following my issues with it. if it doesn't work i WILL be parting it. ok now if anyone can do me a favor and check the voltage at the rear wire clip before the pump to let me know what power u have. i checked on mine and i have 1dc volt. if that's not right i guess im going to have to try to follow the lines back up to one of the relays and rewire that. pray that this works..i really don't wanna give up my tracker..but..this is the only thing left that's been fighting me. i got the engine running good. new exhaust, new starter, new alternator, new top, new headlights, new pcv valve, new filter, new oil, new plugs and wires, new distributor cap and rotor, lol i covered just about everything..please let this work  :'(  any advice im free to listen to from the zuk guru's

I woudl think that you would only get power to that line when the pump is running, AKA when the key is cycled to the on position so the pump is primed or when the vehicle is running. So unless you checked it when the key is just turned on then you aren't going to get any voltage.

Measure while sombody is cranking the engine,
the pump stopps in 3 seconds if engine isn't running
