Question abot re-sleeving and boring. I know that Mazda Miata or 323 Turbo pistons have been used in a big bore conversion for the 1.6. These are 78mm / 3.071" compared with 75mm standard. LA Sleeves  offer a 1/8" wall thickness sleeve for the 1.6 with an O.D of 3.202". How much meat is required in a sleeve to be safe? Would these work or will custom sleeves be needed?

Need to saw open a broke 1.6
block and check out the thickness
of the liners, 2mm should be no problem
3mm I dunno, that's 1.5mm off each side
of the cylinder wall.

Did you see what that Import Parts
place wanted to do the resleeve ??
$160 a hole, could have a trick block
for 7 bills
