ARB has arrived
« on: January 13, 2005, 05:44:10 PM »
Morning.
The post man came yesterday and had a big box that said ARB on the side from Rocky Road.

After reading the very good instructions 3 times I think I know what im doing.

I will take pics as I go and write up anythings to watch out for. Im building it up and hen taking it to a man that knows to check out my work prior to fitting it.

But basically its a Front ARB 26 spline for my Kick,

You will fret over that hole you have to drill in the carrier for the air line...

But you'll get over it, and just drill it.

BTW, did you get a steel carrier?

If your carrier is aluminum, you're gonna regret it, sooner or later.

You know I never broken my front alumimun diff.  But after hearing all the stories I've got an Anvil sitting in the box wating for spring.

I did put a strap across the nose of the diff to hold it down to the cross member.
