Well, I know that the V6 is a "taller" engine than the 1.6 is - that may be an issue, and it's also a lot "wider".

But people have done it - I'm just thinking that the 3" BODY lift may actually be necessary, to fit it under the hood.

There is a reason for this.

If I put 13" wheels on my Sidekick, and stretched it out to a 200" wheelbase, it would be the only one like it anywhere near where I live, too.  But hey, to each his own!

Look guys,  He isn't knocking us for our lifted Zuk's so lets NOT knock him for his lowered Zuk.

We all don't need a rock crawler or street cruisers!

To each his own!

Nah, maybe poking a little fun at him.

A lowered vehicle just wouldn't work for me, because of the gravel roads I drive every day - I'd be dragging bottom all over the place.  So, I guess there IS an advantage to living in the city (or at least where the roads are all paved)!

Having done a V6 swap in, I'd say that you would be able to keep everything lowered. The transmission /t-case mount will be in the same place. You'd have to fab some engine mounts but the bottom of the engine sits relatively the same as the 4-bangers. HOWEVER, the engine is quite tall and intake "doughnut" will be real close to your hood. You may have to fab a cowl induction style hood scoop or something, which wouldn't even have to me noticeable.

Good luck, -Eric

PS. That's a nice lowered Sidekick and anyone who says different is a ninny.  8)
